Depends on your RSM. Nothing in the rule book to say they can't check hair during mob.

Yes, depends on camp rsm. Last time I went back for half day training, the stupid rsm also got indent barbers.

it is recommended that u inform your unit as soon as possible upon activation so as not to be blacklisted.

Hi there, i am very lost on this since i received no briefing or any update ever since i ord-ed. Please share your kind inputs to guide me along TIA!

Here's the backstory, i disrupted my service for uni and only completed ns term when i was nearing graduation. When i officially finished my last day there were no briefing or anything. I had to write in earlier this year to check for info, which i only know which unit and codeword I'm allocated to. All i know about mob is that i acknowledged according to the sms sent, that's all.

I am C9L9 clerk, what am i suppose to expect for mob, what should i bring along, what will happen there? My mob is in dec16. and it doesn't help that i am starting on a new job soon.

Since I am on this subject on reservist, if i am called back i shld receive the SAF100 for notice and there should be a briefing on what to bring and what to expect. Am i right?

Sorry I am really clueless on this, any inputs will be appreciated!!

If you are unsure what to bring, call ns.sg and get them to contact your unit. They should get back to you.

Mob is mostly on a Sat(could be Sun as well) so unless you are working on weekend, it's unlikely to affect your work.

reach camp asap (dont be late) once they either flash the code or call u... items required in the fieldpack... the packing list go ask your unit for it... the NSportal currently now is not yet good enough since they upgrade it... it usually Sat but still got Sun ones...

only when reaching there then u know what activities planned...

make sure it the it the new type of uniform (pixel ones) the rest of the items can still used it... if u dont have go emart to do ordering... will take awhile... and delivered to your house...

either acknowledge the call through by calling or visit NSportal to acknowledge the mob or callup...

the SAF100 now is digital types... By right there is a briefing... but by left...

it does get delay or if they screw up you found out only when your friends go but u dont have to go... it can be lucky (no need to go) or they screw up and inform u quite late...it does happen...

as for activities go check NSportal or go on the first day then u know... the basic items of course must bring...

P.S. hope u get ready in time since still got almost 1 month plus to 2 months...depending on your mob dates...

every yr... like that all of us pray dont activate...fieldpack is heavy ones... as you get older...weight seem to increase

No. U are not allowed to wear no.4 with sandals in the public. U are to dressed in CV and bring your required mobilisation items AND your medical memo to in-pro.

it is an offence for such an attire under the Uniform & Deco Act.
