Good or bad, please contribute to this thread so that new/jump-ship subscribers can have some reference to base their decisions upon.
I will (try my best to) update the first post as often as I can, but the focus will be more on adding new areas rather than 100 good reviews for a specific area.
Entries will be sorted by area for easy lookup.

Biggest Piece of Advice: Always subscribe starting with a lower plan that is one or two notches below your target.
i.e., if you're looking for 4Mbps, start from the 1Mbps or 2Mbps plan first. If it works well in the area(s) where you predominantly use the mobile broadband, then consider upgrading.
REMEMBER! It is ALWAYS easier to upgrade than to downgrade.

Please provide:
1. Provider (M1/ST/SH)
2. Plan (in Mbps)
3. Area used (be as specific as possible)
4. Max speed attained, and (optional) roughly percentage of time attained
5. Rating (1-10)
6. SpeedTest link (optional)
7. Any comments

Format of table below:

General Comments
- YorYor: Very much improved since I first used their 1Mbps service from Feb 07 - Aug 07
- YorYor: Now employs image proxies which can sometimes cause lags in loading webpages
- YorYor: DNS servers response a bit erratic at times
- YorYor: Getting the occasional "problematic days", but not often at all, usually Mondays
- WestGuy: Poor upload, poorer overall performance compared to StarHub
- koren: Although M1 provides one of the fastest download speed.. its not very stable.. my MSN keeps disconnecting when i open >5 tabs in Firefox.. some pages need refreshing to be loaded properly..
- weap0nx: But for surfing it's perfectly alright not blazing fast but really acceptable. Get 2mbps if you need to surf and do a bit of downloading.
- whaleshark87: M1 throughput is much much more lousy than starhub. Webpages can't load on M1 while it loads smoothly on starhub.

Here's my experience from just terminating my Starhub 7.2 and signing up for M1 7.2 recently.

1) Jurong West - Starhub gives better upload and download speeds. M1 extemely poor upload speeds e.g. 0.0x mbps

2) Suntec area - Using speedtest.net on Starhub, best i got was 6.xx mbps download. Using M1, best i got was 3.xx mbps. Using M1, my 2 attempts to download from rapidshare were terminated halfway twice(but connection still appeared ok). Never had any terminated downloads with Starhub before.

3) General - Starhub gives better speeds than M1 for me in almost all places. For M1, sometimes i need to refresh the page a few times in order for it to display

Summary - Big mistake for me to convert from Starhub to M1.

Would never consider Singtel, even though i have staff rate for it due to their 30 gb/50 gb data caps for their plans. What a turnoff.

Where have all the SingTel BBoM users gone?
Keep hearing mixed references, some say good some say no good. Area dependent like M1?

Dude I'm using Starhub 7.2mbps but I never get more than 2mbps! Staying near boon lay mrt. Kinda damn pissed off. Had 2mbps plan before but nowadays my speed average only 1mbps. I tried different modems but all gave me same results. Shud I change my provider?

That's the prob bro. When I'm at work I will use bbom, and when I'm at home, I will connect the modem to a 3G router and use it at home. I can't even get 1mbps both ways either.

Please provide:
1. Provider M1
2. Plan 1Mbps
3. Area used: Hillview Ave near MINDEF; River Valley Rd near Valley Point
4. Max speed attained, and (optional) roughly percentage of time attained: 1.04Mbps, 90%
5. Rating (1-10): 5 (because of reasons below)
6. SpeedTest link (optional)
7. Any comments

Frequent server not found error is irritating. Also, perpertual disconnection during download from Megaupload and Rapidshare makes me reconsider the option to cancel my ST FBB 3Mbps plan and sign up another higher speed M1 BBom for home use eventually. No use if i can't download stuff.

Err, can moi buy new phone from chiu n chiu gibe moi discount :s11: :o
Why leh? Good or bad, should share mah. Even if you're SingTel employee. ;p

i dun rly jus use st bbom only leh.
good or bad is subjective de. also, there are alot of factors involved, i.e. certain area has sudden spike of calls for specific days, new subscribers(and terminating users) due to shows like comex etc all which will provide subjective result even between diff seconds as u use.

while no comments will be dispensed, i can post speedtest results tho :)
