I do not think this is a dumb question. I dare not to do that myself. Luckily a single wireless router in a central location is good enough for me now.
I dare not too, but if it is possible, I don't mind getting a contractor for it, small work compared to do home renovation to run ethernet cables behind the walls.

Some MoCA adapters have 2 Lan ports, does that mean I can connect Orbi RBR50 to MoCA adapter too so I can free GE3 above?

dumb question.... how possible to pull out coaxial cable and wire network cable thru the coax pipes in the wall?

if your unit belongs to the 90s where all the coaxial points terminated outside your unit at the riser box, any thoughts on how to power a switch over there to connect all the points up in the absence of an AC plug to power the switch?

It is inside my unit... here is the picture... and I just noticed it has 6 outputs? So I have 6 Coax jack on the wall? but why I only found 4 in my house?

So for the splitter replacement, should I get 1 splitter or 2?

Not using ONR. Then again i don't think there is a difference for MoCA
I think if not ONR, then all devices need to connect to the Mesh router, I am using ONR, I am trying fully utilise its GE ports...

Not a must to replace the splitter. While it is recommended to get a splitter that supports up to 2500MHz, mine works fine on the default one. Capable of going up to 1Gbps at least.

There might a coax point in your utility/store room? And the other extra one might be going to the next splitter at next level of the building.

No, only coax points in the rooms.

oh ok. not sure about replacing those coaxial cable with network cable just by pulling.

but for replacement of electrical wires embedded in the wall, contractor will hack the wall to expose the conduit based on my friend renovation journey. thereafter, they will plaster back the expose conduit.

so I guess for coaxial replacement might fall under such approach as well (my guess)

Has anyone tried Asus' MoCA adapter (MA-25)? I can't find its price anywhere.
https://www.asus.com/Networking-IoT-Servers/Wired-Networking/Wired-Adapters/MA-25/
What first attracted me was its unique right-angle coax cable connector, I can mount it directly to the outlet without buying additional coax cable, maybe also good for those who have very tight space between wall outlet and furniture.
Do not need to do such troublesome thing. Just put a good router at a good location will do the job.

Do like I do, connect directly to the coax box by removing the splitter inside the box and connect the Moca adapter to the coax cable.

I connect an indoor digital antenna to one of the TV antenna box to connect FTA signal into the coax cable. Then i connect a digital TV to the antenna box in the other bedroom. Coax cable still got use.
