Im new to this forum but would like some input. Have a current gpa of 2.78 (terrible.. i know..) and looking to take a bachelor of science at Monash.. what are the chances i will get an offer? IDP person told me the requirement to even enter is 3.0 but a monash representative told me i can get exemption as long as i meet 2.7 gpa requirement. Anyone enter with gpa less than 3.0 before? ��

Idp and Monash representative all talk cock one, as long as you have money to fund your studies just apply only. Monash quote me 3.3 and melb uni 3 in order to apply, would have gone to melb uni if I just apply on my own and not listen to idp or uni representative. In the end ended up at uq since they quote me 2.7 to enter but too bad for me since my gpa only 2.95. My sg course mate gpa 2.1 also entered uq, equal amount of exemptions as me

Can apply the other uni as backup plan. Dun care what they say cos every single time I talk to different people from the same uni they say different things. Still unhappy with my idp councillor not willing to help me apply melb uni but oh well

Councillor was being a btch despite me asking her to apply uni melb for me but she was like no they bat an eye on u unless ur gpa is 3. Why u dw go uni melb instead? Better than monash

maybe chiu can go idp fb and leave a review of your agent. many doing that

My gpa isn't exactly great.. and i heard uni of melb is even stricter than monash in terms of grades

The better uni, courses naturally tougher and if they grade on normal distribution, the weak gets the short of the straw is just natural

How did u find out they talk cork? U found ppl with lower GPA in the same uni and course?

Too late la bro, I already came uq. The only good thing she did was helping me save 1 year of expenses since uni melb 2 years for my course with exemptions
