Quickly go change. My friend changed for me at funan just now at 5.74. Arcade should be better.

min requirement for me shld be 5.7 ba... usually dont hiam so much unless i change a big big sum.

So, the spread is around 0.04-0.05 ... good rate

Some Arcade money changers give you 1000HKD. Check before exchanging.

1000hkd is quite big. About 190sgd...
The rates r starting to get better. More favorable towards us

Don't worry too much about the 1k note, u can always change at the Bank or some places like the MTR station when u top up they still accept.

Other places like Watson and OK shop if I am not wrong they do accept.

Those places that don't accept mostly r the small shops, Char Chang Ting, Some Yum Char places.

Is good to always have small changes. So try go to the nearest bank and change first if no choice.

Thanks greatace just came back a bit tanned haha.

I used the 3 1k notes for the following:-

1) airport 7-11 to purchase sim card
2) airport octopus card purchase
3) macau crab porridge shop
