better change your hk $ in sg. the rates in hk is around 6.13 +.

you can check on GET4X to get a list of different money changer rates in the country

I think on average rates are best In Arcade, then in Chinatown, then at Mustafa.

But some small one like in Explanade MRT or near BEdok MRT are also very very good.

Is it advisable to pay for the admission tickets (ocean park, np360, tram+madame tussauds +...) using a credit card or should i just go change more HKD?

Yes, I second that..my last day in HK made some purchases in Airport for 900 HKD..used my DBS debit card and paid 148 Sing..conversion rate is 6.08 compared to rates of 6.31 when I changed in Singapore. Too bad short of cash after spending almost all while holidaying..haha..

Try to withdraw using ATM than paying credit / debit card, rates are better.

Best rates I saw in HK was 6.20 at Granville Road on 27 Nov and 6.20 at Wynn Casino on 1 December.

A shop at Citygate Outlet and Venetian Macau allowed choice between HKD and SGD when using credit card. Rate was 6.1x at Citygate and 6.27 at Venetian.
