If you want to exchange money in hkg best to do it in a bank eg. DBS, UOB etc. the rates are better than money changer. as long as you have an account in spore they can check and exchange for you.

I exchanged my SGD in DBS bank during my trip in Dec. rates are quite good. spore was 5.9 over there was 5.85. while those money exchanger offer 5.5 to 5.6

My friend did a DBS ATM withdrawal in HK with his SG DBS debit/ATM card before. No additional withdrawal fee, if I'm not wrong. Rate also not as bad as we expected.

Hi, any idea if there is a limit for withdrawal? I tried using POSB atm card to withdraw and was limited to HKD1000 in Sep 2014.
