found out that one of the dvi port on the 6950 was single link instead. swapped it to the dual link one and viola

Guys i hv just Purchase the monitor but i find tat when i hook up my ps3 play game or watch blu ray movie i find tat it is nt as sharp as my samsung tv ... Am i asking tooo much or i need to config the setting?

I'm pretty sure you can check in dell site that this lcd doesn't come with speakers. In fact, all dell ultrasharp series do not come with speaker.

You can however purchase another separate speaker to add on...

just to add on, the soundbar that is a separate accessory of the ultrasharp series, i dont think the audio can be taken from the hdmi port. You can try to verify with the sales personnel or other users here. What i recall is from a 3.5mm audio jack only that is connected from a line in.

Actually if you are not particular on colors, this monitor is really bang for bucks. I played BF3 on this monitor and don't have issues on the input lag. Playable. Only issue is the internet lag I am facing with many players with 100ms pings. -___-"""

How to define worth buy??

Some will say it's not worth it because a crossover 27in ips cost just S$3XX. Some will tell you it's worth it. For me, it's worth it.

Color is good. Quality is good. Sharpness is sharp. No regrets after switching from 2007WFP. This monitor is bloody cool to touch even after a day of usage.

Also, this comes with Dell premier panel warranty. Even with just one bright pixel, Dell will exchange the panel free of charge for u.

I bought during comex so it is 5 yrs warranty. I believe online should be 3 yrs.

For me it was worth it too simply just for the 5 years warranty provided not to mention you are partly paying for the excellent monitor stand.(adjustable lcd stand cost easily >$100)

I also like the brand name dell rather than simi Crosseye, Simian, Frogleap etc..
(no offense, though the pricing is great value for $$)

Mine has a backlight bleed at the bottom left as reported by users in uk oc forums.. but I think I'll live with it lol..
