I wonder do we have to pay GST for this monitors?

yes you have to. Coz they will cost in here and there a little, sure exceed $400 one :)

But I can claim back lol! So it doesn't matter......as long as it's meant for business operation.

What's S-IPS?

Oic, so must factor in GST for all this monitors.

You can claim back as long as it is for business operation? I remember that we cannot claim back GST unless the item is sold with GST to a customer. The GST we charge is for the GST we paid. Something like that. How you claim back?

You need to study IRAS GST rules and regulations. Claiming process is the same :)

the ideal price to run away from GST is $350-380 if I'm not wrong. You just split the parcels if you wish to siam GST, but then you may incur additional freight and admin fee....

This one from Gmarket is with pivot stand.

Computer / Laptop - CROSSOVER 27 27Q LED-P PIVOT DVI-D S-IPS 2560 x 14...

It is almost about SGD$100 more than the one without.

Computer / Laptop - ACHIEVA Shimian QH270-IPSBS 27 LED 2560x1440 6ms P...

They stated that the power consumption is only 55W. Dell U2711 typical power consumption is 117W. This means that this monitor are more "environmentally friendly".

Yah, I have just checked, some put 68W ... and some 55W.

I do agree with you on warranty & service part. Dell provides "On site" warranty, which is very good.

I got 2 set of Dell 24" LCD, so far only one of them got problem. Just call them, they will arrange to come, 1 to 1 exchange and that's it.

As for all this model, any wrong ... must ship back.

But pricing wise ... which is about half price is really tempting.
