2 x Crossover 27Q LED-P27" @ USD$780 (free shipping)

CROSSOVER 27Q LED-P 27" (2 Set) | eBay

I personally prefers the Crossover model because it has a stand like Dell U2711.

Assuming if both monitor spoil on the 3rd year, by that time probably each of them might cost $300 each liao.

So looking at long term .... getting Dell U2711 might not be that bad.

Hmm .... hopefully Dell could have the $719 offer soon again ... then it would make the decision so much easier.

I just ordered a Catleap 27..

Seriously, why are these monitors so cheap? As compared to Dell which are like 700+?

apparently these panels are A- panels while the dell uses A+ panels. What that implies no one knows exactly except for the fact that the korean monitors do have poorer QC. You also have the lack of support and warranty to start with.

Do note there are other consumer brand variants out there that are "budget" ips monitors as well. The 2 brands known out there are HP and Harzo

some users can make it work with their laptops.

what you will need though is an active converter for your macbook to even have a chance for it to work. i think its like from dp to dual-dvi?

i got only dp-hdmi.. But got convert hdmi to dvi.. Should work i guesa
