Guys, it seems my crossover adapter has some kind of problem so I need to try another one accordinf to red-cap. Any recommendations for a shop is SLS or anywhere else I might be able to get one?

I think some shops in SLS has it but you need to hunt for it. I also saw a shop selling computer & mobile phone accessories at Jalan Sultan, at the Textile Centre, level 1 beside or near OCBC bank there.

I think I saw quite alot of different power adapter. Just make sure you got the correct voltage & ampere output should be ok. Oh yah, and the correct connector size too.

To play safe, maybe bring your monitor down to try.

Bro, I didn't use the supplied 2 pin connector that came with the monitor, I used my previous Samsung 3 pin connector which have the same 250v 10amp.

Also just bring your Power Brick to SLS level 5, they sell alot of those wires/connectors/adapters.

Red cap sent it out on the next day after I made payment, took a 5hr overnight flight to SG and arrived on my doorstep around 3pm.

Total 3 days wait.

I am seriously considering getting 2 of the Crossover 27Q with pivot. Anybody got that already? How is the screen?

I got a analogy ... if we are the manufacturer ... and we bought a whole lot of IPS panel from the panel manufacturer .... would we put the good / better screen (with less or no dead/stucked pixel) on the cheapest model we are going to sell, or would we put it on the most expensive models that we are offering?

I might be wrong ... but just thinking that it might be possible.

Receive after 4days. 1 bright pixel. Terrible backlight bleed.
2. jeff119 - ACHIEVA Shimian QH270-IPSBS .
-screen seems to be perfect,pixel wise.
-came after 5 days.

EDITED : went to look at the iMac screen today, it is almost similar to my QH270.

I asked before liao ... no difference. But what I am more concern is that if we were to import anything >SGD$400 .... we'll need to pay GST about $33 for each monitor.

I am checking with the seller on this now.

GST is paid to Gov't lor. It depends on the value declared on the item. If they declare as <$400 .... then no GST.

Ordered and received my 27Q Pivot two weeks ago. Redcap (and all the other sellers) will declare it as a 'gift' with value less than 400SGD so you don't have to worry about the GST. Just buy, wait and enjoy when u receive your value for money 27" panel
