anyone can comment on this monitor vs samsung PLS monitor?

I have the Samsung pls monitor. It's great and loving it but I am now considering getting another one or two more to with do dual or triple setup but if I get the samsung one it will be 1800 and crossover will be a lot cheaper. I think for this monitor it's cheap and good but got risk....

1 samsung pls can get 2 korean ips monitor. Using my korean monitor for almost half a year already. No signs of it going any time soon. The price traded for warranty, hmm...

By the time the korean monitor goes probably PLS technology will be much cheaper.

actually it all depends on which korean panel u getting. the one i want to get is Pivot + DP + HDMI ports and its close to $630 including 7% GST if tio....

But of course if you compare to a 27Q which is around 380 - 399 there is a big diff.

I am running dual 27Q.

The screen on the right side may black out once in a while and then come back on. I reckon that it could be my gfx card that is being overloaded.

When the screen goes blank ... does it come back on or it stays blank? If it does, how long does it stay blank?

I troubleshoot over the net. Found out that it was a lack of power supply. I changed the extension cord and everything was ok already. :o The bad thing about it is the 2 pin plug, filmsy and sensitive. The screen still goes off sometimes when i accidentally touch the wire.

Lack of power? Cannot be lah ... the monitor is using their own power adapter. So probably is the power cable.

not that I know of. you can buy the cheapest one and simply get a wall mount locally. Vesa mounting is supported

i looked through many pages of this thread and reviews of these budget panels - one consistent thing i found was the lackluster build quality. is there any ACD clone that gets close to its build quality as well? don't mind topping up a bit, but of course not full price for ACD. :o

hmm, the 3d render of the monitor looks good.. but from real user photos - the material used looks a bit cheap (although i have to agree it's the best of all the budget monitors)..

also, would it be better to get the version with tempered glass or not? saw some peeps here having a problem with dust trapped behind the dust, higher reflectivity etc.

any other variant with one notch up in build quality? ;)
