From what one of the buyer feedback ... the one with MDP is plastic.

Most power adapter are hot. How do I "push" the monitor to 120Hz? Most sellers should be ok.

May i ask if anyone know the catleap monitor's refresh rate is 120hz or 60hz?

http://list.qoo10.sg/item/YAMAKASI-CATLEAP-Q270-LED-SE-27/406376966

Can't find much info on this on the page itself.

I googled around and some reviews said that the refresh rate is not guaranteed and it's not at the max resolution of 1440p that u can have a 120hz.

Anyone can please advice?

For now ... just assume that it is 60Hz.

Not sure if I should get the Crossover 27Led standard or pixel perfect edition. Is it worth purchasing pixel perfect? Is it even worth the risk to buy a crossover monitor in the first place? I suck so bad at making decisions.

I definitely cannot afford a well branded 2550x1440 ress monitor, so it's either the Crossover 27 standard or pixel perfect or one(maybe two) 24" Dell Ultrasharp monitor.

Decisions decisions decisions... What would you guys do in my position? :(

go for the crossover, whether its a pixel perfect ones or not, u were BOUND to have dead pixels anyway..its a matter of pure luck.

take the risk, it is worth it. :)

I THINK I would be mild OCD on such things and cannot tolerate dead pixels(unless they're REALLLLLLLLLY not obvious at all) :s22:
Don't understand what you mean by 'Bound' to have dead pixels? Haha.

So... now to decide between standard and pixel perfect...

Pixel perfect or not, what im trying to say that u will eventually get dead pixels. Same goes to every panel, including Dell or Apple display. Its just about pure luck to be honest. But if u want to spend abit more to get that perfect pixel panel, then sure. Just dont expect to not have backlight bleeding on the other end, or one pixel that they missed checking. :)

From what i remember, i saw the thread on overclock3d.net, someone mention that he bought the pixel perfect panel..when received, 1 dead pixel on the upper left.

It goes to say, pure luck. :)

Haha yeah sh*t happens. But what are the chances of getting a panel with defective pixels if I go for the standard? Like say 30%?

And they do mention they 'check' the product before shipping. When they do their check for the standard version, do they ignore the units and send them out anyway if they find < 3 dead pixels? Or do they try to make sure there aren't any at all?

As for having sh*t luck with perfect panel... I think they cover the cost of shipping back exchange if I'm not wrong?

Thanks for the responses anyway, Pitimon! Appreciate :o

Edit: Wow cant believe they even censor the casual word sh*t when it's no way offensive unless used in the wrong context... same goes for every other word.

meaning that they have done a quick scan thru of the panels to see if there is any major pixel issues or whatever....

u STILL MIGHT get some dead/stuck/bright pixels.... however if its above the warranty spec then u can ship it back for an exchange i think

Thanks for the responses guys.

Made up my mind to get one of the crossover monitors.

Question: Will my graphic card support 1440p? (ATI FirePro V4800)

Tried googling to no avail.
