Oops my bad. Made mistake
Now still can get cheaper than 1.5k?
huh, why not.. price i got few months back was < $1,400.
generally i'm very happy with this monitor except a few small problem;
1. backlight bleed, doesnt affect me too much.
2. some games dun support 21:9 for e.g. Fifa15... they die die dun want to fix. Also some games although in-game is full screen, during cutscene there are black bars by the side.
3. max refresh rate is 60hz which means you see some tearing
can share where to get it for < 1.4k?
have local warranty?
I think there are more options for a 1440P monitor at that outrageous pricing.
The ultra wide screen is more for productivity, then again there are many 32-40 inch monitors are better in terms of value and performance than this.
I'm actually looking for productivity and gaming. This monitor seems to strike my fancy,

Planning to get a [Dell U3415W], on top of my current 22", for my CAD set up.
Anyone has experience with a curve display for CAD? My concern would be that straight lines might look curved.
The 22" monitor will display reference drawings and the 34" solely for CAD.
I do play games too and that is big reason for me to get a 34".
If the curve screen is not optimal, I will be going with a standard 27" 16:9

As an ex user of this monitor the curve really made no difference for me. of course just buy that time it's a very obvious feature.. maybe i sit too close to it very quickly it looks like like any flat monitor, so i feel it's kind of a gimmick...
any good deal to buy this monitor ?
Thanks guys
There still isnt too many option for 34" widescreen.. may take a while for next model to come out for Dell.
