Dude, a decade ago the central banks were falling over themselves to sell gold in the 300s. Gordon Brown famously smashed out most of the BoE's gold at the ding-dong low (and at the time he was hailed as a hero).
Now they're all buying it back $1500 higher.
Yeah, I reckon the central banks could be wrong at 1800, just like they were wrong at 300. I wouldn't be putting my hard-earned in Trade Like A Central Bank Capital Management LLC, at least.

Anything that raise so parabolically will always correct. And note that this is not the first time gold ever raise in such a pattern. Go and look at the last 36 years gold price history. There was once gold went into the exact same pattern going up by 425% over a 2 years period. The important thing is what happen after.
Back in 2011 when gold was at $1800 and I was warning of a sharp retracement. Expecting support at $1200 though.
