Don't anyhow quote if you don't know the situation. I am quite sure people who say transfer money lost on ibkr simply can't follow instructions exactly. My dad is one of them so I know, it's user problem.

Once you see the fund appeared in your account, you can click on the promo/subscription link to see the #days countdown.

Just completed the 60 days promo on 15 April and received the cash coupon. I also waited more than 7 working days to realised it is cash coupon in my account. Are we able to take part in the new promo again? I accidentally clicked subscribed again and now it shows me to deposit with my 200k still inside. That means it does not rollover another 60 days? Even I withdraw and deposit again still cannot right?

Anyway saw this SingTel promo got 6.88% for 1 year guaranteed return. Has anyone park there already?

I read it as you need to fresh funds to participate in the new 6.8% promo subscription.. Let's say you have $100K in moomoo cash plus fund as of Apr 15 (i.e. Feb - Apr 2024 6.8% promo), then you need fresh fund for the Apr - Jun 6.8% promo. It's impossible to earn 6.8% without topping up extra capital.

Friday interest gets credited on Sat and no interest earn for weekends. For MariInvest, only $10K and below is immediate credit to your bank. Otherwise, it's 1 biz day. Agree that MariInvest has better 7D avg interest rate than moomoo.

Don't bother with any investment-linked insurance product except for protection purposes. I got a 6 year 2.68% from Etiqa in 2020 when interest rate was near zero. In hind sight, it was a bad move given today's interest rate env (and no lock-in period!).. Thankfully, it wasn't a big sum of money.. 2 more years to go, ha!

Always check your mailbox/notification! "Rewards reminders" will tell you when rewards are in and what action to take to claim it.

Always read the tnc, line by line to understand the promo, it will tell you how the rewards is calculated and awarded to you!

Unfortunately, no notification or clarity about the cash coupon. I tried a lot of FAQ until I gave up and call Moomoo to explain to a China-accented CSO.

Furthermore, I was "shortchanged" about $30+ of the 6.8% top up.

Looks like moomoo added this new feature, need to wait 1-2 days for subscription confirmation before countdown starts. The date countdown starts become the date your 6.8% promo starts, not the date of subscription.

"The 20/ 40/ 60 days term will begin upon your first subscription into USD/ SGD Cash Plus which takes 1-2 working days after your subscription has been confirmed. For example, if you subscribed S$10,000 to Cash Plus on 1/4/2024 and your confirmation of your subscription is on 3/4/2024, your last day will be 23/4/2024. And, if you top up another S$40,000 (total S$50,000) to Cash Plus, your 40-day term will begin from the first day of subscription (3/4/2023)."

So you need to do some gaming. Assume fresh fund and cap limit no change you need to ensure your existing monies is low enough depend which tier you want to go.

Current promo start from 01 Apr to 01 Jul. So high existing monies on 01 Apr when promo campaign start you game over unless you really lotsa monies to keep topping up.

I gaming they restart same promo on Aug onwards. If never repeat also ok.

No need empty out lar their daily returns not too shabby. For me I keep to 39k as I gunning for cap 50k tier. The rest take elsewhere diversify Mari Invest, Syfe Cash+ Guaranteed, StashAway Simple Guaranteed etc.

Syfe Cash+ Guaranteed now 12 months is 3.7%

USD-based MMF or Treasury gotta play longer duration as forex can hurt the returns significantly for short duration (< 3 months). The problem is fed will likely lower interest rate end this year (at least) and that should send USD rate down. Meanwhile, MAS is also keeping the strength of SGD against USD to control inflation esp. in a highly anticipated election year

assume I place $20, 000 in on 1 April 2024. Subscription starts 2 days later on 3 April 2024. Assume on 21 April 2024, which is exactly 18 days since the day it subscribed, I have additional spare $40, 000 to add in , how does the additional fund gets calculated in terms of days for the 6.8% promotion ? Because it should be the tier for 40 days by then.
will moomoo consider the whole lump sum at $60,000 at 6.8% for the remaining 22 days ?

it by 23 April 2024, which is exactly 20 days, only the remaining $40000 will be considered for the 6.8% rate while the earlier $20000 will continue to enjoy the base 3.x% interest ?
