Just withdrawn all the money in the cash plus account after receiving the $20 cash coupon hehe. Immediately received a friendly call by moomoo rep on the withdrawal reason.

Gave me the option of extra $20 cash coupon if I cancel the withdrawal. I rejected it as I'm waiting to participate in the next promo.

Just wondering, if something happen to MooMoo (touch wood), will the funds in cash plus get stuck?

Or is there a separate custodian account?
I think such question need not be specific to moomoo. It can happen to any others as well e.g Chocolate Finance etc. Rule of thumb is always never all in always diversify.

RSP regular savings plan. It mean you set a schedule of recurring investment maybe every Mon Tues etc per week or per month auto take monies and buy into that specific mutual fund or ETF. This remove the need to time when to buy. Just keep buying at a fixed interval. In a bear market it is known as averaging down not really optimal IMHO.

You should learn how to read the T&C linked on the top right of the promo page. All your answers are there.

How long does it take before the promo interest is paid into the account?

Finished my 60 days today, but so far have earned around 3.5%. When I go to the promotion screen it says "your holding has now earned 6.8% for 60 days"

i tried to do a small withdrawal but it still triggered the 'cancel the withdrawal instruction ....' WA message..

Has anyone tried not to reply that message (it doesnt give the option to reject)? What I would like to know is, if I ignore the message, would the transfer still go through?

i did 10k today, no survey. i think just give a general reason, maybe it is for auditing, nothing special.

The promo is quite confusing.

I joined the previous 31 days 6.8 promo which was ended in March but i keep 10k inside for the US stock rewards till 6 May.

If i want to participate the 6.8% 90 days on 2 May, should i register and deposit 140k on 2 May? If so, will the 10k be part of the 150k? Thanks!

I finally found the redemption pricing cutoff

https://www.moomoo.com/sg/support/topic5_342

Basically not a good idea to redeem during weekend, as you will lose 2 days revenue. Better to wait for Monday after 9am.

4. Redemption Price
The Company will determine the price for the redemption of the Relevant Fund by the Client ("Client's Redemption Price") in different ways depending on the time at which the Client issues the redemption Instruction, and this will in turn determine the redemption amount received by the Client ("Client's Redemption Amount"):
(a) If the Client issues a redemption Instruction before 9 a.m./12 a.m. (SGT, refer to the cut-off time) on a trading day, the Client's Redemption Price will be calculated with reference to the price issued by the relevant Fund house on the previous trading day. Therefore, the Client's Redemption Amount will be the same as the Advance.
(b) If the Client issues a redemption Instruction at or after 9 a.m./12 a.m. (SGT, refer to the cut-off time) on a trading day, the Company will first pay the Advance to the Client's Fund Account. The Client's Redemption Price will be calculated with reference to the price provided by the relevant Fund house to the Company in the afternoon (although different Fund houses may have different settlement times) of that day (the "Settlement Price"). If it turns out that the Client's Redemption Amount is greater than the Advance, the Company will pay the excess amount to the Client. If the Client's Redemption Amount is less than the Advance, the Client agrees that the Company may deduct the excess amount from the Account for its own account without further notice.
The calculation methods in (a) and (b) above only apply to trading days of the Fund. If the Client issues a redemption instruction on a non-trading day of the Fund, such as Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, the Client's Redemption Amount will be calculated with reference to the Settlement Price of the previous trading day of the Fund.

Hi. For everyone's reference the additional payment came as a coupon 2 days after. Have to click on the coupon to get the money added to the account. I withdrew from the fund before 9am in the morning and was able to withdraw from moomoo the same day in the evening.

Thanks again for those who gave the advise earlier!

If you gamble similar kind of promo to appear again and assume rules no change you should keep your existing Fullerton Cash Fund to around 39k. Tier 1 they cap at 50k with minimum 10k fresh fund. Why 39k is becuz you need to wait for them announce so during the wait you allow some buffer as they give daily returns. If you go for Tier 2 or 3 use similar strategy logic.
