I love the homemade brand, especially the durian one

To me is a waste of money. It is just durian made into a mooncake. Might as well buy durians.

I am not against durian by products btw. Durian puff, etc, you eat on the go, mooncakes...?

Marriot ones, their flavours changes every year, unless one have already eaten, I doubts most can reply if they are good.

But are you feeding them the impression that consumers can be ripped.

I don't understand why MSW mooncakes are more ex, cos by right they should be the same as D24.

If you are a avid durian fan, you will know MSW has way more pulp per fruit, so the cost per kg of pulp will likely be similar to D24, esp if they stock up during peak season and at wholesaler rate.

MSW mooncakes are a rip off. We are complaining prices are going up but yet telling those shops that you charge $120+ for MSW mooncakes I am also willing to pay. OMG. You should go and look at this year's RRP.

Went to Taka to sample the mooncakes.

Row by row...shop by shop.

I only like white lotus paste one....so sampled this for all the stalls. If the promoters ask me try other flavours, i tried but just for fun.

Conclusion based on white lotus paste one:

GOOD
1. peninsula hotel (hong kong)
2. Fullerton hotel.
3. KEE wah (hong kong)
4. Zi Wan Loh

PASS
1. taste paradise
2. Regent
