I just tried using their buyforme service and was shown this: The merchant you have selected has requested that we do not ship their merchandise outside the U.S. Please select to visit another website.

My guess is you didn't buy from motorola.com but somewhere else? Bestbuy?

Managed to get another black one from The Moto 360 – The Consigliere for those who can't wait. Higher cost but I think the convenience is worth much more than their trouble instead of a 2-3week wait.

how to buy from best buy direct

Hi,
I was trying to buy from BESTBUY and ship to ComGateway .order got through , received Credit card charged notification however within a minute the order was canceled .
I dont know the issue is shipping address issue or I do not report correct billing address (Which i reported Comgateway as billing address).

Initial check on my credit card limit, it seems the charged amount of $249USD has been refunded .

Anyone manage to trick BESTBUY ..

Think u'll receive at ur CGW address next wk ba.. the 1 day is item processed & shipped out within 1 day after your order

did a test if u order now, the Free ship only gets delivered by 9 Oct next wk..other expedited delivery.. costs more and can get by this fri..

I think I'll just ask my friend to buy for me as he's helping me get the Moto X too. It will be a little more ex this way but oh well.

Reference on Back Cracking

I removed the leather band and inspected mine. I installed a metal band for comparison but did not like it, so put back on the leather band. My back is not cracked.

What I learned:
The cause of cracked back is not from pressing the watch down.

Rather the cracked back is caused by pulling the watch away from your wrist. There is a rounded plastic portion of the back that has a sharp edge that hangs out under the strap. When you pull the watch away from your wrist the strap pushes against the sharp edge, and enough pressure will crack the back.

The sharp rounded edge under the strap is entirely non-functional. In my opinion, the sharp edge that presses against strap is a design flaw because it causes cracks in the back.

Hi guys, can I suppose a tought? My idea is that the problem is generated by the bottom of the 360, that's supposed to be not-so-resistant plastic, and from the dimensions of our wrists.
I'll try to explain it better with an image I've done for you:

As you can easily see in this first image, people with a quite big wrist create no contact between leather (or metal) band and the plastic piece

In this image, instead, we can notice how small wrists create a tension between the two things, and if you notice in the images posted by users on the first page there is a crapped one with metal band that you can easily image how probably crapped.

P.P.S.: obviously it's nothing official, only my tought.

Even though I have small wrists, my strap usage is much like "medium wrist" .. its pointing straight out rather than bending direct down, then making a big bend with lotsa gap between my wrist and watch... so my current usage should not be bending the back since I do not wear it very tightly nor make the strap bend down alot (shape of strap around wrist is more oval than circle)

so far no cracks still.. (touch wood)

if u scroll that thread, many people on stock original leather straps also got cracked backs.. possibly due to strap bending down too much (small wrists, or wearing too tightly)
