edit: wtf talk to moto's CSO, she say my order is on pre authorization hold and didn't go through. the charge will be removed in 3-5 working days. seriously wtf?

well thats the risk you know when you are buying it outside a official launch country right..

Maybe you can try the play store, i got the chromecast with my dbs card, but the play store is quite sensitive with what sg card you use..

that was the deal breaker for me. can't imagine a watch dying on me if i didnt charge it during the day

No matter what AW watch you buy now all offers the same batt life. You want longer batt life go pebble

Mainly because even when it's off, it's still an awesome fashion accessory to have. I can charge it in the middle of the day in school anyway, so I don't mind.

given that most reviewers (like the WSJ) aren't very techy.. and they had only tested it for very short amount of time and didn't really try to fully understand the device or check it all out, I'll still give it a shot..

assuming it can last 12-24hrs.. still ok and then probably i'll bring around a portable qi charger..

The battery life is NOT 10-12 hours. According to what I've seen online, moto 360 has an ambient mode, which basically dims the screen when it's not in use, but this eats batt cause the screen is still on. But if you turn ambient mode off, and use it only when you have to, it can give you a day or more of batt life. My guess is WSJ and the verge reviewers used it alot and had ambient mode on.

Also take note, batt life across all AW devices are not the same. Firstly consider the batt size. Moto 360 has 320 mAh; others have about 400. Moto 360 has lcd display; others have LED displays which turns off black pixels (uses less batt)

I am going to wait for more moto 360 reviews, before considering if i should buy this first gen product or not.. Anyway guys, dyou think local retailers will sell it, and what price?
