Just received my Tylt silicone replacement band for moto 360. Looks awesome with the silver moto 360 and the quality of the silicone feels great on wrist.

TYLT Silicone replacement band for moto 360 - A mini-review

The good:
1. The silicone is softer even than leather, and feels soft to touch and comfortable on my wrist. I don't see any risks of cracking the back with this soft silicone. And moreover if your moto 360 already has a crack at the back, then this band will definitely not further the cracks as it doesn't stress the back cover at all.

2. I like how the clasp on the end attaches to the band itself so it stays attached and you don't have to put it through a loop.

3. The high quality silicone is sweat, odour and stain resistant. That makes it easy to maintain. I can finally exercise with my moto 360 with it.

4. There are 12 holes on the band that allows ample room to adjust to different wrist sizes. I have a small wrist and I normally use the 7th hole and that gives it a really snug and comfortable fit.

5. Personally I like the colour options (black, blue, purple and olive green). I feel the darker colour tones with the stainless steel buckle actually retains the coolness of moto 360.

6. The bands can be replaced easily with the included installation tools.

7. The bands don't cost much. Its available from amazon.com for USD 29.99.

The not-so-good:
1. The clasp is a little wide to feed through the buckle. That is about the only complaint I have with this band.

Is the band stiff? Does it stress a lot on the back? Afraid of back cracking. My metal band spacer just cracked after I sold off my steelconnect. Now looking at alternatives.

When I first bought my Moto 360, I used the Pebble Steel metal band but after a few months, small cracks started to appear on the back. One of our fellow Moto 360 users here recommended this metal band that does not put pressure on the back at all:

I've been using it since and no complaints whatsoever. My 2 Steelconnect adaptors are collecting dust. :D

Does the watch band have a middle notch at the top? According to Amazon reviews it does not. Am curious because I had always believed the notch was required in order for the band to fit.

There are no middle notches on the bands. But even without these notches, the replacement bands were installed in no time at all. I guess its because the soft material used here allows room to accommodate. I don't have any worries on that end.

not sure if anybody has encountered this problem...only recently i noticed my watch is not waking up when i twist my wrist up. I have checked the device setting in the app and "Tilt to wake" is set to ON.

i tried resetting the watch, but still same problem.

And i also noticed that when I receive Whatsapp and SMS, the watch vibrates, but screen does not wake up. But when I receive LINE messages, the watch screen wakes up.

Any ideas?

yah, i think its relative, when compared to something "golder" it looks almost silver. When compared to less "golder" then looks like lolex king. hahaha

You have to remember that these are smartwatches. Like smartphones, the screen is not intended to stay on all the time. Your battery will deplete within a very short period of time.
