Break down often still up? Can ask the board to cut pay and bonus for 5 years?

Acknowledging concerns over the cost of living, the PTC said that the upcoming fare increase has been moderated to "reduce the impact on commuters, despite sustained increases in costs of public transport operations".

translate: actually we can and want to increase even more, but we don't want to deal with all the backlash and decided we will just live with moderated profits... for now.

Considering the recent spate of breakdowns, they have got the nerve, the gall and the audacity to increase price.
