are we able to buy from stores now?

I don't think so, unless there are still some of the first batch of pinks laying around in Sim Lim. Those that are using their black Wind are those that pre-ordered, they just collected these past 2-3 days.

Based on the list price that was suggested at $888 for 1000H, I think MSI will lose some business in Singapore. Not only they have nothing to sell, the Wind also has only 3-cell battery.

Well VR-Zone says:
**Note that both Eee PC 901 & 1000H will only be available in Windows XP Home during the launch @ Suntec.

Hence, they'll probably have display models for the public to play with. It's the easiest form of advertisement. To many, touching it and Eeexperiencing it > wall of text on banner/flyers :).

Depends, I'm being quoted $888 for 2GB MSI Wind Black...

So it depends on what you're looking for... Whether better performance (2GB RAM on Wind), or a longer performance (6 Cell Battery on EeePC 1000H)...

I'd rather go for the RAM 1st... Then when the 6 Cell comes out, see if the early takers of Wind can gather to lobby Corbell to allow us to do a trade-up to change the 3 cell batteries for 6 cells...

Why is it so ex? I believe I have seen much better price somewhere somewhere. Do look around before committing on the Wind~

More like gone with the Wind with Asus 901 and 1000H launching today.
Tough fight for the Wind I can foresee.
