Today's random bit of information: battery life on the 6-cell battery.
Here is a short "log" of what I did on the 6-cell battery. Since all the benchmarks were done, there was nothing else left to do except try to drain down the battery.
I adopted a simple method to simulate web browsing, using Auto URL Refresher. You can download the software from this link:

Same testing conditions as for the 3-cell: 50% brightness, Wifi switched on, Bluetooth switched off, and speakers on at full volume.
Start time:
9.37PM
Windows XP was reporting battery life at 100%, with 6:23 left. That's a pretty good initial report, we'll see how it goes later on.
For the first part I was doing general web surfing using Wireless@SG. This was when the earlier photos comparing the Eee PC and the MSI Wind were taken.
At 10.27PM I packed up and left for home, cos the shopping mall was closing for the day. At this point, Windows reports 84% of battery charge left and 5:00 remaining.
Back home, I switched on the MSI Wind at 10.56PM. Before starting the "test", I checked the battery status again: 83% and 4:54 remaining.
I connected to my AP and started the auto URL refresher. I chose 5 different sites randomly off the top of my head: Google, Hardwarezone, VR-Zone, MSN and Youtube. They were set to refresh between 10 and 30 seconds, as I estimated that to be roughly around the time taken to browse between webpages.
With that, I started it up and left it to work. Screensaver and all power-saving features were disabled throughout this test.
At 1.28AM, the battery was at 31% and 1:42 remaining.
At 2.37AM, the battery was at 8% and 0:21 remaining.
At this point, I switched it off.
End time:
2.37AM
Total run time:
4 hours and 31 minutes
I don't know about you, but I know what I want for my MSI Wind

.
Afterthoughts: Browser caching might have played a part in influencing this simulation, however I believe it would be quite insignificant to the final result. If you wish to, subtract 31 minutes from the end result
