I thought Corbell will upgrade the RAM for you if you bring it over? Lol, ask them nicely for an extra sticker?

Else, go print your own :s13:. Try Arial with Italics, size 20 :). Something like this:
file.php

I have done all I could but still cannot get the wireless LAN up.

Frankly speaking, the wireless LAN is fine all this while but while transferring my stuffs just now, it just got d/c. Next thing I know, wireless cannot connect anymore. Cannot even find my neighbour's access point. The wireless LED is on. Device manager shows the wireless device there.

I just got this laptop on Friday. So fast wireless LAN got problem. Was told that the bios and everything the latest.

Anything else I could do before making a trip back to corbell?

Yeah they will upgrade the ram for only $35, thats cheap what. Actually, when i was there with my pinky previously, it was upgraded by the vendor that sold me. Corbell even offer to paste a sticker over the hole, to warranty the book. :s13:

LOL.

I thought it applied to other laptop.Since the sticker is mean to protect the consumer. As in the retailer cannot replaced or change the hardware part.

Now I am the consumer & i can change the part :p.

As for the sticker,I support Msi for life so i wont do that to them :p

Doody join the Wind!

The meaning of Self-Upgrade means I have the spare ram.If I dont have any spare ram...obviously I will accept their offer. :D

Hmmm, funny most of us here do not have this problem, after updating the BIOS and the new drivers.

have you done both things yet?

Why not reinstall the wireless lan driver ?

Turn off the "Allow this device to power off"

Yup good advise, do a un-install the drivers than install the new drivers. Shut down the little book for 10mins for it to rest then start it up again......maybe all it needed was some rest?

Okay. Now I have the solution already.
After so many restart, shutdown, reinstall, still cannot work.

Then, I just shut the lid, it went standby, the resume from standby, wireless suddenly can.

Is it something to to with the connection at the hinge at the lid? Or the software got a bit hay wire.

Kind of Funny. Waste my 4 hours trying to figure out what happened.

Just press Fn+F6 to activate the webcam, then go to My Computer and use the USB Video Device to play around with the webcam :).

By the way, reflashing the BIOS doesn't require unscrewing anything :).

yeah, thats why i was about to ask if anyone started to peel out their winXP serial stickers. Everyone is talking about peeling out the silver stickers on the keyboard top, but many forgotten the important sticker below their Wind.

I kind of tried to peel the sticker, but it seems to be quite sticky. Btw, where did you do the upgrade of Ram from? My vendor who did it for me, actually included in my reciept that the Ram upgarde was done by them.

Recently, i visted Corbell and when they herad and saw my ex-pinky, they even offered to paste a new warranty sticker over the torn one. Maybe, you should try along these lines? if you are concern about the Wind being not warranted.
