- only now then i realized!!

will my warranty be void based on what the picture show?? i think the re-flash of the BIOS required the removal of the screw.. any thoughts or comment? thanks

Reflash of BIOS doesn't require unscrewing the back. Perhaps they were checking to make sure your wireless card was seated correctly, since that has been the cause of various wireless issues.

just a quick check, if i'm just need a computer for general surfing and office works, will this msi wind be able to replace the conventional PC or laptop?

This is my 1st post in this forum. I've been wanting a netbook but was debating between the 1000H & U100. I took the Corbell offer @ Comex and was wondering if I'd made the right choice.

I was delighted to be informed by Corbell to pick up my Wind last Wed and the best part of all was it came with wireless 'N"draft. Surprise, surprise!

So far, I've used it for 3 days (surfing, checking emails, powerpoint presentations etc) without having the need to recharge. All in all, I'm quite impress. Even with the led turned to the lowest setting, the screen is still bright.

This Wind rocks!

You are most welcome. I chose the black Wind for functionality. You definitely would need an external cd/dvd drive or copy the contents from the disc into a thumb drive.
