People who gotten the 9 cell battery, pls post ur hthoughts on it, whether its worth it, how heavy, etc.

For me I feel that it's worth it because I won't be bringing the adapter to school and can just use it whole day without the need to recharge it in campus.

My average school hours per day is 5hr 15min and if not doing anythig on the 9-cell, it can last 10hr+ and will be sufficient for the use of softwares required in school even though it might cut down to 8 hours.

I suggest people who's active using netbook get the 9-cell because, although it might be heavy a bit, it'll worth your time from finding an power socket and trying to make the length to reach your netbook.

I used it for like 3 days and felt that the battery can last up to 6-7hrs for basic surfing with LAN not WiFi
and some music playing in the background

Maybe if on WiFi, will only last me 5-6hrs and usually i set the lowest brightness settings

quite heavy but then that extra weight could last longer than normal netbooks

sometimes its 5hr.. den increase to 5.40.. den drop 5.15 den go to 6 hours... u get what i mean..

its common , as im experiencing that too its not really that accurate until it reaches below 20%

i think its because of ur usage, like when u doing something, it shows how long the battery will last if u keep up what ur doing, then when u change task, like from typing documents to watch movies etc, the indicator drops?

im not very sure but thats what i think...

I installed C&C first decade but can't play. I've tried on Asus Eeepc 1000H before and it works. Is there any different between the MSI wind and the Eeepc graphic card, or I didn't set something properly?

which game from the first decade are u trying to play? i think up to generals should be fine no?

I've reinstall the VGA driver and I can play up to Red Alert 2 but not the General. I wonder it can play Counterstrike.....
But for a netbook, don't ask for too much. Haha....

I'm using it now. Have problem shutting down by itself sometime. Still figuring out what happen. Other than that, never had a chance to drain off the battery at one go yet. Longest I use to watch a movie for about 2 hours and it still have about 60+% battery left. Still monitoring. No heating problem.

how does overclocking work in the wind? from what i undersatnd its fn + f10 n im supposed to see the power light turn orange ya?

i cant seem 2 make it turn orange.. haha.. its just blue n green.

i have speedstep enabled and i tried the doc percentage @ both 8 n 15% but both doesnt work.
Bios version - EN011IMS Ver .10B
