How come MRT staff is so powerless? The boomer has the law on his side?

Once, a boomer sitting beside me was blasting music from his phone. I gave him a thumbs up for his choice of songs.

I just returned from Japan. All my subway / train / shinkansen ride all very peaceful.. many are using handphone but no sound fron it and i really wish Singapore can do that

It is not about old but consideration to other.
