My desktop is about a year old. Today I wanted to use my PC, unfortunately my pc unable to power on, but my GPU light is still on. For long term issue, it take about 30sec-1min by holding the power button then it would power on. This minor issue has been lasting for about 10months. As I don't really bother much. I would like you guys to help me out what are the possible problem that occur my pc unable to power on today. Yesterday it was still fine.

I build my PC a year ago, but don't know how to diagnose.

Computer fan not running. Like the whole thing not running.. need power on then the whole system runs.. now the whole system don't run.. another thing is that when I shut down, didn't off my plug. Few hr later there's no delay in holding power button. Which mean once I press the power button it power up. When I off my plug. Next day got the minor issue 30sec-1min delay when attempting to press the button. Like need to hold the button to power on.

Could be a bad capacitor on the PSU. Test with another PSU or bring present PSU to distro to check.

PSU problem.

Either change PSU or keep trying to on and dont off your plug once its on.

Anyway its not good to on and off your plug as everytime you do that you are creating a spike in your PSU.

If you really need to then make sure your PSU switch is off first before turning on the wall switch
