Nice. I like the way the harddisks are placed parallel to the sides for easier access.

Soldam's design lousy IMO. Still prefer Lian Li. Easy to install & remove PLUS reduce HDD vibration and noise.

HDD cage is only a small factor in the overall casing design. Furthermore, I only have 1 HDD per system so can live with this shortcoming. Basically, more Pros than Cons. :s13:

Maybe I'll have to improvise something to reduce the noise and vibration. :D

Same for my XR-2JV B.K. and Antec P182. Finally using something I really like.

Previously made some stupid choices esp. with the CM Mystique 631.

The current ZR2000, i feel not as good as the XR2.
What's the diff.? Looks similar except for the side ventilation hole design.

Hmmm ... let me go take a close look.

Yes, the side ventilation holes that your XR2 dun have. IF you open up all of them, chances are, the front wont be taking in enough cool air...kns...

Mine have. Just different design.

I didn't open up to check but the readings from the mobo and Kama-Meter show very acceptable temps leh ... CPU and NB about 4 deg and 8 deg above ambient at idle.

Full load CPU never exceed 40 deg C before.

how can i make this mess neater? i will be getting L connector sata cables so i would most likely be adding a fan. especially the mess at the bottom usually how do you hide those.

actually i have a 2nd hdd which i cant find a place to mount. i will also be swapping to a sata optical drive once comex starts.

The mess at the bottom - cable tie the casing cables and straighten them and hide the excess at the front panel. Refer to my post earlier.
