my contract runs till some time in sept. was told by cso over online chat that i can choose to recontract early however an ONT installation fee will be incurred unless i choose to recontract only after my contract ends. is it true that if i recontract early i cant get ONT installation fees waived?

that correct. as long as the installation is after your contract, setup fee is waived.

u can recon early and ask them to hold on till end of current contract

I am on MR plan till next year as I recontracted last year. Can i recontract now but only activate it when my contract end next year since there is an ONT charge.

if you have recontracted.... most likely you *COULD* upgrade very soon.......since MR is more than happy to get rid of the NC box for you...

You can upgrade now and request to do the installation after your contract end, hence the 58 dollars will not be applicable.

You mentioned that you have received the confirmation email in your previous post. That why I said if you really want to double confirm, then call in to verify.

More beta testers needed

Hey everyone, the initial phase of Beta testing for our 1Gbps plans is completed. We now need more testers for our pre-launch phase, so if you're interested, please send me a PM with your:

1. Name
2. Customer ID

If you don't have your customer ID on hand (or if you have just signed up), I'll need your:

1. Full Name
2. Contact Number
3. NRIC
4. Address
5. Email

Do note that the beta test is for those who've already signed up for either of MyRepublic's 1Gbps plan (the ULTRA $49.99 or GAMER $59.99 plan).

Successful applicants to the beta test will:

- be the first to try out MyRepublic's 1Gbps connection
- have their current subscriptions switched to the new one (for existing customers)
- be asked to provide feedback during the testing phase

But as places are limited (and we'd like testers spread across all regions of Singapore), we may not be able to offer beta slots to all applicants (though we'll try!).
