U still pay your subscription?

For 2nd month in a row. My credit card was deducted for subscription fee despite repeated promise from whoever here and their customer experience manager.

I think it only shows how empty is their promise and how bad is the company internal communication.

I think some tweaking has been done for China streaming. PPTV seems to be smoother now

Best dun use GIRO to pay bill. In case got problem, at least they dun get the money.

Simple. Terminate your credit card and re-arrange the other GIRO payment to another card, just do not arrange GIRO to MR this time.

Hello Myrepublic staff,

My customer ID is C1016282. Please note that I would like to cancel my non existent account. Please DO NOT reschedule another appointment for me.

I am a new customer and have been waiting for an installation reappointment for almost 2 months now. I think I have given Myrepublic enough time to at least keep in touch and contact me on the progress to reschedule my appointment. However, none is given. It is truly disappointing to know that your customer service is quite non existent. You guys should have paid more attention to your new customers instead of just making us wait with no updates along the way whatsoever. It is rather unfair to expect new customers to signup with your plan after being kept waiting with no updates along the way. The trust is lost even before we signed up. My fibre contract with M1 have long expired and I'm going to recontract with them. Don't expect us to wait for so many months without any response from Myrepublic and still expect us to sign up with you in the end. Most of us have moved on and even forgotten that we've signed up in the first place, due to the lack of communication and updates along the way.

So please, don't bother calling me up anymore for a reappointment. You've cancelled 2 appointments with me previously. I'm not gonna be fooled another time by an organization who is clearly overwhelmed with the signup responses. Until you get your things sorted out at your end, I'm not joining Myrepublic at this point of time.

hey guys, just to check with those who are already on 1Gbps and with their internet connection up and running: what speeds are you getting when you download movies using hosting sites like uploaded/rapidgator/netload?

Using IDM, around 10MB/s average per file.. Of course if you download multiple at once the speed will drop...

Oh alright. For now when i download using IDM on 100 mbps, per file on average is 1.5 MB/s and if i download multiple files at the same time, the download speed altogether hits around 8-9 MB/s.

I am guessing if i were to download multiple files on 1 Gbps using IDM, it should hit a total speed of 80 MB/s? or is that hoping for too much.

If your network equipment meets the requirements, you can try download iOS firmware. No problem hitting 80MB/s with idm and if i download multiple files at the same time, the download speed altogether hits around 8-9 MB/s.

Good time - 100+MB/Sec dl, multiple file multiple threads.
Bad time -10-15MB/Sec dl, multiple file multiple threads.
Normal time - 35-50MB/sec dl, multiple file multiple threads.

Pay peanut get peanut, if you prefer stable speed i would strongly suggest going for VQ.

Speaking from experience with even the 100Mbps, U got to have a decent com as well. It will be very taxing if you download 10 files at once on IDM and they all finish all at the same time and "merging" together, or if you set destination to another harddisk if you download on SSD.
