wonder if it NC equipment faulty. maybe u can log a case to take a look. See if replacement of ONT help.
I know MyRepublic said they don't limit torrent but my downloads in recent months will not go up above 1MB.
I admit web surfing is a little bogged for me lately but it could just be some other issues.
I did had 2 nights where my speed was suffering and I even posted screenshots and had a talk with the technical hotline and it took them a day or two to fix it. Since then torrent for me is miraculously smooth as usual. Speed is what you claimed, so maybe give them a call and see what they can do on the backend and also check if it's the equipment failing on your side.
Loaded this torrent on the spot for you. Highest at 7MB/s ( So I doubt that they are throttling anything )
Still no call from MR team, anyway to check if im enrolled for the BETA ?

looks like a bad case of worn off fiber patch cord...
try this for size
http://sg-01.azrin.info/stash/ApplicationManagerEnterprise_3_1_all.exe (PM for more bigger) and tell me if you can trash up over 50mbps (about 7MB/s)
if so...then it's not hardware issue......
Hi, I am thinking of jumping ship to MR here but few questions to clarify first if I may:
Context: I have a fibre connection running currently and the contract is ending is a month's time.
1) If I were to get a new plan from MR, what is the average lead time for the connection to be up and running? I am assuming that OpenNet is not gonna be involved here but I may be wrong.
2) Are the 1Gbps plans the only ones being pushed right now in lieu of the the IT Show as I remembered there are other plans as well from MR previously.
3) What are the one-time charges for new sign-ups?
4) I am also possibly looking for no-contract plans if any.
My apologies if these are on the site as I couldn't find anything except information on the 1Gbps plans.
Still nobody up and running yet? I signed up long ago, but I'm really curious what the pings back to the East Coast of the US will be like... And will they be any different with the gamer plan.
1) For MR staff to advise.
2) As of now only ULTRA and GAMER 1Gbps plans.
3) A one-time standard service activation charge of $58. You can refer to A Clear & Complete List of MyRepublic Fibre Broadband One-Time Charges for other add-ons.
4) No No-Contract plan at the moment but not sure about the future.
What do you mean by nobody up and running?
