Sorry if my posts were defensive. But seeing how people are shooting MR down doesnt feel right. Try and see if you can get the same amount of customer support from the Big 3. They probably dont even give more **** than they have to.

Try posting on their Facebook. See what is the kind of response you get compared to MR.

Service industry is always like that.. just have to deal with it..

I have to say, no regrets getting MR Fibre plan.. will recontract when it is due.. the reason I am happy with MR was due to the value add services like Static IP.

I connected a Synology Diskstation and store my photos and family albums, closed my Flickr Pro Account (save money) and I can get to my Photos from anyway due to the static IP I got from my package.

Also, now I got AppleTV3 connected via the Teleport Service (using MR DNS) and now I am watching NetFlix and Hulu Plus, when comes Dec 2014, I will close my account with StarhubTV (save money and more channels to watch plus not to mention I can view the programs anytime I wanted to and not at specific timing.

There you go.. here are points of feedback for you that you guys have done well.. at least in my books.

I am unable to access internet since 11th Jun too.
tried to call technical hotline since 9pm and live chat but to no avail.

Had tried rebooting modem and router, and connecting directly via cat5e cable.
still unable to establish a connection.

pls advise.

Is there any MR staff here???

Try Johnnny or Nivlek1985

I can see that many people blame MR even though when its OpenNet that is causing the delays etc etc. And they don't know that even if they change to another provider like VQ or the big 3, they still have to go though OpenNet.

Exactly. Maybe no issues with ST since Open Net is owned by them:s22:

Elaborate more, no connection even if you connect directly to the ONT?

What are the colors of the light on the ONT?

Sad to say, Singtel give me better service.

Call them, fast to pick up. Somemore, they fulfill their promise to follow up with various requests.

When u encounter problem with MR, then you know the experience.

I think its quite expected and normal for Singtel or the other Big 3 providers to provide better Customer Service because they have been in this industry for a long time. They also have a much bigger customer base because they also provide mobile services and generate more income. When you have more income, you can employ better and more resources.

Whereas, MR only provides internet services. They also have a smaller customer base and are relatively new in this industry.

So just simply saying. People are just paying more for the better services thats all. But from the looks of it, most people (especially from this forum) are happy to fork out more money sometimes even to the extent of overpaying to get better quality service.

Singaporean mentality. Pay less, complain. Pay more also complain.

Anyway sad to say also. I don't know if you are just the unlucky few or many who get such bad experience or am I just the super lucky minority that never experienced something so bad.

You should hang around the 2 threads more and see the amount of complaints.

Most of the complaints are for basic services. Which even Myrepublic are unable to provide.

Follow-ups, appointment arrangement, Internet service down for few days without repair.

These are basic services.

I know there are many complaints. I used to be a Singtel subscriber but I decided to jump to MR. I'm contented because ultimately I'm still paying less.

But of course that will be different if I'm paying the same amount for both providers.

Like I have mentioned, they are still a new and small company compared to the other 3. If you see the amount of complains on the other 3 on their facebook, its more than MR. And 1% of MR customer complaining is already 100+ people including you and the rest. From what I know, MR doesn't outsource their hotline services
