Surfing net mainly. I don't game and download stuffs often now but i'm sure those will also affected.

Sometimes the webpage will take forever to load and the frequent disconnects that lasts for more than 10mins

Which plan are you on? My 1Gbps has been fine with just 1-2 5-10 mins downtime since I got it activated 3 months back.. other than that, no hiccups whatsoever

Perhaps those with disconnection or slow internet speed issues can also state their location.

So we can also consolidate and know whether these are location specific issues or island wide.

Mine seems fine for the websites I frequent. The only "slow" site i visit is an UK site which loads equally slow even on my M1 4G. Thus its not a ISP issue. Maybe you can state your area and router and we all can see if there is a trend going on before we shot MR.

I'm watching the World Cup matches using Teleport and have no problems with it. However don't expect HD streams though.

Go to www.itv.com/itvplayer and BBC iPlayer and you will be able to watch the live TV streams that carries the matches.

yup. i have been using those 2 players for live matches

only when i turn on hola then i will be prompted for postal code.. after the prompt then i can continue to watch the live matches..

other contents in itv/bbc dun need hola

still waiting for MR staffs to confirm on this..

I had been watching the live FIFA2014 and Golf US Open on XBMC either on P2P Channel or Sport Devil. It is good quality, there is HD channel available.. If you speak Russian the bandwidth of the channel is even bigger....

Any MR users experiencing frequent disconnects and very,very slow network problems nowadays? When MR first started i don't have these kind of problems

We are also experience frequent disconnect and worst cannot go online but show our laptop are still connected.. we are 1gbps user since april..

we have 3 laptops and the highest ever we hit is 90 mbps with our i7 processor laptop.. even if we run only 1 laptop at a time..
we are using asus AC56U dual-band router..

no different with our experience with Singtel broadband previously.. always lost connection... siao..

Are you on wired or wireless connection?

Based on the technician, a really nice guy, who came down, he told me that backup of MR side haven't activate my port yet.

Then I ask him, opennet or MR? He said MR..soo....

Maybe he also not sure, I dunno.

Just installed the 1gbps plan at around 4.30.Still waiting for it to stabilise supposedly. Wanna check if anyone knows roughly how long it takes? Trying to call myrepublic and using their live chat but no one is replying.

Msg them on facebook, he said got problem wait for the call
Now i check got billing issue. 5 month wavier only 2month free. (May&Apr)

pure100 free months is 2 month on 1st year + 3 month on 2nd year

Hey nicefy thanks for your advice. Tried it but no replies. Getting super annoyed by the customer support hotline. Hearing about them saying that they value the calls and ******** while we wait forever.
