My friend finally has his 1gbps installation up. He was a pure 100Mbps user. However..

1) The installer came at around 5+ when the appt slot was supposed to be 10am to 3pm.
2) He requested for homevoice upon recontract but the black ONT was given to him instead

Talk about cock-ups..

finally got my connection back at 10+pm just now since it went down on 11th Jun (Wednesday).

was told by the MR technician that there was something wrong with my profile at the backend side....which resulted in my lack of connection.

got them 7 days to fix that...:\
They could have rectified it a lot faster if they have done the checking earlier as I have already told them about the status of the modem LED (blinking connection).
hey was your problem with open net?

Mine was also down since last wednesday..........

@xRenol

that was the term the technician used, but it's the connection light that's still blinking. So I finally managed to call MR, and they tell me to wait till tomorrow because suppoedly there's problems patching of something. I'm totally disappointed by this because there was no warning of any sorts that this procedure might cause the customer to lose internet connection for such an extended period of time. From what the person tell me, I think it's the OpenNet side that's having problems and I guess there's no chance of getting back my internet tonight. Someone really needs to give OpenNet a good shitting because they have been utterly frustrating so far.

Nope. ONT still blinking blinking blinking

Are both of yours up yet?

I checked last night... still down :s

Been using tethering with my mobile phone to check emails and stuff :s22::s22:

They just called me.

I opted for the 49.99 plan. Dont really game as much now.

Using my console more than PC.

I think they offered me the router with 100bucks off.. I already have the 66U one. I dont have to get another one right? unless i sell this off and get the AC68U.......... not much of a difference i assume.

I have a concern. Sometimes when i am upstairs, i cant really detect signals. What can I do about that?

Are you using N66U or AC66U router?

If it is s N66U router, AC68U will have a better WiFi range than N66U.

Just had my 1gbps plan (non-gamer) installed today.

However, twitch streams buffer constantly. Is this always the case?

Fantastic speed for the AC bridging. Faster than what my homeplug can do.
