Have always used the client. Tried web-based after seeing your post, similar result.

In addition to web based, it wont work without adjusting settings for me, my live buffer changed to 300s then Max connects 400, max connects per session 100

Yep. I know. Been using similar settings myself and watching without much issue till this weekend.

First match pretty much fine on both days then around 10+-11pm it cuts off. That's when I notice direct download/p2p/Youtube speeds all become rubbish. After about 2 hours normal service is resumed again.

Hi there yattan,

Apologies for the inconvenience! It is stated on our home voice guide at https://secure.myrepublic.com.sg/add-ons/user-guide.pdf
.

Bolts

It's quite an important feature for me so if fax is not available then i dun need the home voice. is it possible to get a refund on it?

i expect a paying subscription to at least have features starhub provides free.

It's partly my fault that i did not investigate whether fax was supported but further research on the net suggests that fax support was planned at least since oct 2012.

1 year has passed and still no progress? It occurs to me that you may be the only ISP that doesn't have fax support and it is a paying service.

Sorry no home plugs. As we do not in anyway encourage homeplug, wireless speed is potentially higher than a homeplug.

The homevoice fax has indeed been in the pipeline for a while. However, we are constrained by 3rd party in certain things.

We have to pay a monthly fee for an inferior service that other ISPs offer freely and without limitations.

Is it convenient to state what are the limitations you face? It's easy to just say 'oh we face this or that limitations' and us consumers have to just take it or leave it.

Perhaps you can provide a more detailed explanation of why is the fax not working but other ISPs have no problem, where does the problem lie, who is limiting you, what is the reason for the limitations, how you are going to resolve this, when do you see this problem solved, how can we consumers help you?

i had no problems with singtel or starhub.

The issue is 2-fold not just can fax or cannot fax. it's a paid service and yet faxing is not available when other's can fax and it's free.

Hi, fax doesn't work for all digital. It's impossible for it to work. The only way is to relay on analog.

As proven in this thread. http://deluxeforums.hardwarezone.co...rk-ngbn-forum-320/fax-over-fibre-4039353.html

It works and it doesn't work, if it works, it's being converted to analog and send over. And even if it does, it would be only for local and not international.

I'm deeply sorry for this. However, being a fiber company means having no access to old analog system.

Hi, the singtel mio voice is 100% not able to work with fax. If it can, it's just pure luck. As we advance on to newer technology. Older tech such as Teletax, bank book, analog voice are phrased out.

SingTel - Generation mio : mio Voice : FAQs
Does mio Voice supports faxing?
Yes. Fax on Digital Home Line is supported. Here is the list of fax machines we have tested:
• Brother (FAX-717)
• Canon (B820, M338 & MF4370)
• HP (Officejet J3508)
• Lexmark (X5650 & Pro905)
• Panasonic (KX-FL422, MB772, MB2030)
• Ricoh (4430NF)
• Sharp (UX-P410)
Note: SingTel will continue to update the list

VQ OneVoice does support fax according to some user posts on this forum
SH maxfinity definitely support fax cos i switched from SH to MR
M1 VoIP also support fax according to their website.

Seriously i don't want to dicker back and forth on whether who support or not. I need the line for faxing and i need a solution or a refund for a service that i cannot use.

would using the starhub dlink router as a VoIP ATA instead of the grandstream HT701 work? but i doubt it since the specs are identical. makes no sense why 1 device work and other doesn't

How about using home plug to extend the wireless?

Hi everyone! We've just enabled 2 new websites for Teleport - Nickelodeon and Kids WB. Nickelodeon alone comes with 5 separate video channels: Nick, NickToons, TeenNick, NickJR and SpongeBob. Kids WB has a wide array of cartoons that you (and your child) will definitely be familiar with.

Also, with these new channels, we've also added a Kids section on our Teleport page for easy access to content catered for children. Check the new section and websites out in the link below!
