Just received a SMS, "Dear MyRepublic customer, urgent maintenance will be conducted in your area on 3 Dec 1-6am with possible disconnection. Please restart ONT & router after. Thanks!"

Received this via SMS. Can admins brief me the purpose of this technically? Haven't had the time to follow on this thread.

Hahaha... I also want to know the purpose of this urgent maintenance.

Is it by OpenNet or MR?

I am using ASUS N15U from MR, it seems that WiFi after some time will change to limited then have to reconnect again to the router then ok, happen to my PC and phone, no issue with wired connections.

Anyone facing similar issue? I think still under warranty, how to prove that the router is the problem?

im a 1st time MR user. This morning the engineer came down to install the fibre. To my disappointment he told me the upgraded router that I requested is out of stock so he will be installing the basic router for me instead. The upgraded router will be available in around 2 weeks time. I find that this is rather disappointing as MR in the first place should have inform me abt the lack of stock days ago instead of now so that I can wait till the upgraded router is available first before agreeing to the appointment. Now got to wait for dunno when for the stock to me available. sigh sigh sigh :(:(:(

Same issue here, happening right now. Router only has two lights instead of my usual three.

Edit: is MR under maintainence? Restarted so many times, cannot establish wireless connection. :/

I did. Both router and ONT. More than 5 times already.

If maintenance or problem with cable should see red light on ont, if no red light probably is router issue, go bug their helpdesk or something. standard routine.
