Sigh, even though my republic is fast, the organisation is just not structured to support business. 3 days lapse since the request to upgrade static IP from 1 to 8, and still getting no where... Its really up to you if you want to keep this customer who is growing, or lose this customer to another provider that can support an enterprise. You have 1 year 11 month to buck up!

When was the last time you send such a request to say Singtel or Starhub. Unless you are prepared to pay for express service, its a typical 2 weeks standard to provision such a commercial request. Thus 3 days and nothing happen is still well within the usual threshold.

hi, i am setting up my NAS for remote access.... however my port forwarding all failed ad when i test the opening, i get connection time out. then i realise by WAN IP is 172.XXX while the test shows my external IP as 103.XXX... my guess is due to the private IP 172. assigned causing the issue.

Anybody doing NAS remote access can advise? running synology. the phone apps no issue to access. expect using another pc outside the network.

If you hard code IPv6.. you might get that to work.. I'm trying on a solution bypass using natural NAT filters
