Sometimes its not a matter of congestion but routes. The big 3 will have better routes because they are rich and have been around for a long time.

If u want to youku, twitch tv maybe MR is not for you. But for torrent its the best at the price u are paying. Viewquest could be better but more expensive and the big 3 will throttle you.

So its up to individual needs for us consumers to pick and choose.

Not sure if it help, your is LAN or Wireless?
Which router are you using? Disconnection mean if 1 person got disconnected, everyone in your house same or other are still connected? Can you check the router log to see if it reboot or any abnormalities?

wireless.
i am using ASUS RT-AC66U Router - my adapter ASUS PCE-AC66.

my brother is using ASUS EA N66 adapter.

everything gets DC. what usually happens when it DCs. it dcs and it connects back again in 20-30seconds.

the last time a tech came to my place he said my wireless system is working well. i know gaming and WIRELESS is quite retarded lol but my mum hates wiring in the house i cant do much about that

Sounds like the router crashed to me. Maybe update firmware or just try the next lower. Last choice is RMA.

Perhaps you can check the router log first like what danxiaogui86 mentioned.

I'm just wondering with MyRepublic becoming an OpCo, what practical advantages does it offer to users (versus the current situation whereby NucleusConnect is the Opco)?

Will MR users operate on two different networks (i.e. one with NC as the OpCo and the other with MR as their own OpCo)? Will the MR user experience on these two different networks be significantly different (i.e. better routes, peering etc)

Perhaps someone from MR would care to comment?

MR will migrate their users from the existing OpCo to their own OpCo batch by batch.

The middleman (NucleusConnect) is taken out of the chain, including cost and installation. Most ISPs are now their own OpCo.

MR is also using ASUS Router. Your M1 Router can still use for MR fibre.

Open net will have to activate your port 2 and heard many here affected by open net delay. I am also thinking whether to jump ship. Also afraid of it.
