Think MR having serious problems
Internal staffs resign,
Expo booth staff using partners working for them via the commission they closed, even the expo rental fee will be share by those attended partners,
Commissions consistent delays..
Are they having financial problems? That's why staff and those Authorised partners keep changing?

any good deal now from MR~? :s11:

i wonder if fixing up the bb takes months now~ :

Mine just up on 14th Aug. I was called on the 22nd July to inform of the installation. So its something around 3 weeks. Add up the time needed after you submit your order I say its about 4-5 weeks to the point you sit down and use the 1Gbps.

They got US$24M of investment... How to have financial problems?
Sinar Mas and Xavier Niel inject US$24M in MyRepublic

More likely they are just ignoring certain request / not enough manpower.

MR don't use web mgt anymore for their ALC-Lu ONT...
only with the 240 with HV and that itself is pretty useless.

mm. so how can i configure the gpon after pressing the reset button?

edit: problem with my openVPN. before switching from st to mr, was able to connect. after using mr, now in the log file it shows server poll timeout. which i suspect is being blocked by the firewall

how do i disable the firewall that is blocking my openvpn server?

i believe u need a static ip in order for your VPN to work.
MR is using private dynamic IP, so the ip u holding is not public facing.

Do u have a static?

One advice is never reset your ONT as there may be some preset settings in the ONT.

No static. however i had no problem with my previous ISP which also had dynamic ip

Your previous ISP is using a dynamic PUBLIC IP whereas MR is using a dynamic PRIVATE IP by default.

That explains why you need a static PUBLIC IP for MR.
