Just installed the ONT and router from MR. No signal.Technician who installed said some patching issue with server. Was really looking forward to test the fibre network. Am disappointed have to wait up to tommorrow. Haven't even started service but already encountered first problem. Who to blame? MR or OpenNet? West area.

It could be either NetLink Trust or MR.

Are you on any fibre plan previously?

Weird. it seems to be a vietnam IP instead of being a Hong kong one :s22:

118.70.3.34 IP Address Whois | DomainTools.com

Either way, it is still redundant routing.

Patching issue mean the backend is not done properly either at Opennet or MR side. There is no signal on your TP point hence the installation won't be able to complete.

Its a good start.. but you guys do realize that just one guy won't make that much a change if your backend does not solve the issues that causing tons of unhappiness.

Anyone else have issues with using Google DNS? I've been using it smoothly for a few months until now. Normal internet access is only restored when I switch to MR DNS :s11:

C:\Users\AJa>tracert -d 8.8.8.8

Tracing route to 8.8.8.8 over a maximum of 30 hops

I set my router manual DNS to 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4

Late afternoon got a little problem, can't connect to outside sg websites. After few minutes no issue already.

Bandwidth still good in day time.

Gonna wait till 10pm and test surfing and bandwidth.

I'm on MR 1gbps
Direct LAN to ONT get 900+mbps
Direct LAN to router get nearly 900mbps.
*This part I'm satisfied. Cos not bad throughput.
