I got billed twice in Oct but I went to check my credit card bill and noticed that it's because they didn't charge my card in Sep even though they were supposed to do so automatically. So looks like a double bill but actually not.
Anybody here has bill problem? Suddenly invoice two mth worth of bills.. With no failure in deduction email

My 6th sense says it would be good to monitor for a month more, and solidify your decision coming IT show at November. :s13::s13:

Ok thanks. My Singnet BB contract ending soon. Did trial for VQ for 3 months already and all good, but too pricey. Thinking MR 1gbps is so cheap, maybe now all the problems is because of growing/teething pains because just started up. Still mulling whether to take up MR, secretly hoping that MR 1gbps will eventually fix all their issues and get full speed 1gbps (at night 10pm-1am, any other time don't bother tell me because it sure fast fast one) at only $49 per month !!

The non existence customer service is still not resolved yet.

i dont think anyone should post in this forum anymore because they dont seem to be replying lol

anyway on sidenote, here's my speeds and the only reason why im using older version of utorrent.

ZERtYRO.jpg

the speed on private tracker is decent but not considered fast for 1gbps plan, of cos it might be the limitation on the seeds, since not every seed is a 1gbps seedbox.

My torrent speed on 300mbps plan using public tracker.

This was my speed last night at 10pm+ after the maintenance. Since my com can only manage 30MB/s before it runs on fumes I am ok with it.

2.2.1 and above is not well received
In any case, speed of your hdd plays a part on the speed of the download also??
Someone Please correct me if I am wrong

hdd does play a part on download speed as well as CPU speed, NIC and also the router.

most 7200RPM drives can handle 60MB/s sequential write speeds on inner tracks, so as long as it's not over 500+mbps download speed, they should be able to handle it.

Need to go for RAID solutions so that it can do seq write over 125MB/s for high speed torrent downloads. So most ppl actually cannot fully utilise the 1gbps connection.

This was on 3.4.2, but I am not using utorrent anymore,it feels really bloated now, currently using qbittorent 3.1.9.2 and tranmission 2.82 on mac. Next best utorrent probably 2.2.1 Build 25302, accepted by most private trackers.

Also able to reach this type of speed 90% of the time on private trackers.

If can exclude the stupid mibox then can consider a good deal..

If the ONT is linked to the mibox .... actually it doesn't matter mah.

the mibox just consider as a voice converter.

ONT connect to mibox. then connect mibox lan cable and verify if can get 1gbps.
if everything ok, then connect from mibox ethernet output to your personal router.

*just login into mibox and disable it's own wifi. then it's just purely a converter to voice and you can consider it as an extended ONT lol

that's my plan once i change over to m1 :s13:

personally i still prefer my n66u router. with merlin firmware i can login automactically to my vpn and my entire home devices all will be having a vpn connection, yet at the same time still able to access my personal home network intranet.
