contract ends means u are free to go, dont need to pay them .
btw if u intend to cancel them congrats to u !

I think its a little inappropiate for someone from other ISP to say congrats to someone terminating his contract with certain ISP in that certain ISP thread though...:s13::s13:

To all those who are still getting $#!+ connection, try this:

Disconnect from the router and connect straight to the ONT (wired connection). Test if the connection is smooth. And then connect the router back to the ONT. This seems to work for me. I don't know why this works, but it helps resolve the daily crappy internet connection.

Speed up the process by opening the command prompt and enter "ipconfig /release" before disconnection from either ONT or router and "ipconfig /renew" when reconnecting back (to either ONT or router). At least for me, this seems faster than letting my computer automatically renew the IP address.

cant voice what i feel meh ?

Here is what I think of about it:

Most of the stuff posted here in this thread is highly specified with a basic requirement to be using the service in order to comment. Its not an EDMW thread or someplace a broader social issue is being debated.

I think if you have used before MR and had bad experiences with MR then that comment is perfectly ok to congratulate him on terminating (something based on your own experience).

If you haven't used MR before then at 1st glance someone else would think you are working for MR's competitor or something. At least this is what came into my mind when I first looked at your post.

I signed up for Unotelly service and it worked FINE !! No need to block Google DNS ... Teleport sucks !!

there are lots of dns based solutions out on the market now.

see Comparing U.S. DNS services - RedFlagDeals.com Forums for comparison.

I'm using dns4me.net right now. its is in beta test and free.

I'm using it for netflix and amz streaming on my firetv.

teleport sucks, does not support netflix on firetv.

I had terminated MR service since 17thSeptember, MR deducted my CC incorrectly for September bill and had acknowledge that and credited the amount back to my CC. That is good, but then why is my October bill deducted from my CC again?? why can't MR Finance department get their act together??

I feel this is not the way for a company that has got a Telco license to be operating, something is seriously wrong that MR management needs to review before people start to complain to IDA.

i think it would be easier if u just ask your bank to block payment to MR altogether,

I think that is not how CC billing works, once the Merchant (MR) has approval from the user to proceed to bill to the CC# user supplied, there is no way for user to stop it except getting the Issuing Bank to issue a new CC# altogether.

But why do I want to do that when I have other billing organisations that I want them to bill me using the same CC#.

This is damn troublesome if MR cannot get their Finance to do their work properly.

I wonder what is the point of sending me the billing in secured pdf with my IC as the password when it doesnt work. Tried a few combinations like removing "S" or the last letter...

In the end, i still need to access my account to view the bills. have a feeling they entered the wrong password for me.
