Does any think the same? MyRepublic numbers are quite... bad.

95% numbers given to choose are like 74 74 74 and 74.

Was previous batch all 73 73 73?

For Myrepublic-M1, they are allocated 8874 and 8875.

If you want nice number, get it from Giga then port in.

Giga I heard have 888x xxxx

Ported in since 28 Oct, and I am getting good reception and 4G service even in building and underground in mrt. Didn't get any disconnection issue so far.

Last time IMDA published the Annex 3F number allocation plan. There you can see the phone number allocation allocated to a telco.

8874 and 8875 is I observed 1.
Since April until now only 8874 and 8875.

Another question you ask about Uno $8 plan, MyRepublic don't allow transfer of ownership for mobile.

The Uno $8 is on StarHub network. No VoLTE. So do expect the call quality to be substandard.

some areas the signal is really not strong. i've experienced it too, but as long as can access internet for data, songs, videos, it's alright. no need 100mbps at all.

Agreed with that! As long as can load, I am satisfied. Remembered was on giga during ** period and my phone can't even receive proper 4G signal at home and giga insisting my area is low reception yet they won't be doing anything, got so fed up I ported to grid after that and now to myRepublic after this 50GB @ $17 offer.

My M1 contract will end on 11 Nov and I plan to port to My Republic.

Can I sign up and get the sim card first?

Will they allow me to specify port in date to be night of 11 Nov?

When will MyRepublic start charging me?? after port over or when i get the sim card?

Thank you.

MyRepublic will start charging you on the day you received your simcard.

And porting will take place in the middle of the night, once you insert your SIM into your phone.

Its safe for you to schedule SIM delivery on 11 Nov :) Cheers bro!

Went to MR, wanna port in 2lines. Was told I need to pay deposit $100ea. I asked why??? Informed them my credit report from credit bureau singapore is top graded. But I know not the staffs issue, is the system requirement after they keyed in the IC. So, BYE!!!

Yup, MR can shove their onerous $100 deposit requirement up their ass.. I also took my business elsewhere.

Ya man. Really nonsense. They think they’re are very high class network provider maybe and worry people might opt their service and run away. 👎

I switched to MR end of October, no deposit was required. I checked my credit rating from Credit Bureau and it’s AA. Did you also have AA rating?

Ya lo AA in bold and BLUE. Not sure why. 🤷?♂️

At first I thought the requirement for the deposit for my account was reasonable as I did not have a telco paying record, since my line was previously under my father's name. But now it appears that MR's deposit policy seems very arbitrary in your case then.

Actually we can check Telco paying record through the Credit Bureau Singapore hotline as well. Both my Telco credit record and personal credit record were superb. Even the customer service was confused how can they asked for deposit?
Really disappointed. I guess I will go to TPG for the 50gb $10/mth.
Like one of the Chinese proverb, ride the cow first then slowly look for the horse 😂

if credit ratings are good, then i doubt MR uses it to determine the deposit. probably they randomly pick who needs to deposit?

Maybe they aim those people IC ending with certain number, or they have a structured way to select:

Last digit NRIC plus last digit of postal code, if the returned single digit is more than 5, ask for $100 deposit. If less than 5, waive the deposit

😂
