MyRepublic will start charging you on the day you received your simcard.

And porting will take place in the middle of the night, once you insert your SIM into your phone.

Its safe for you to schedule SIM delivery on 11 Nov :) Cheers bro!

And pay up any outstanding amount with the old telco to avoid any delay.

You go outlet the staff will also sign you up over their laptop via the same public website. This gives the staff an opportunity to put in their staff code in the referral section. But you can get the SIM card on the spot.

In any case, the $100 deposit is likely random selection. Once tagged, you will forever be required to place a $100 deposit per line. Pulled my Credit Bureau report and it is still Grade AA. :s22:

Starhub to My Republic

Those who want to port to My Republic , think 10 times. I just received my temp SIM card. Porting will happen in a day or two.

See the Speedtest results from my Sembawang (next to MRT).

Finally they allow UNO plan users to switch. Did they mentioned need to change SIM card or anything?

Because the old plans including UNO is under Starhub. For signups after 31 March will be under M1. I don't know if there is an agreement made between starhub and M1 to transfer customers over or Starhub agreed to MyRepublic for existing customers to onboard on the new plans

like aa lot of problems:(

Ported over 1 of my numbers to M1 to try out ESIM.

Regret. Some places i go are super slow despite being full bars.

Like that day eating at Monster Curry Jurong Point, load 1 WhatsApp picture takes super long. Same with my office, much slower than my Singtel and giga(Starhub) lines which i have.

I'd rank M1 the worst of the 3 telcos.

Lucky it's only my spare line.
