So glad that I've ported out to Grid. MR is very problematic, it's either abysmal network speed or network suddenly down.

Does anyone face the problem of intermittent connections? I am using an iPhone 12 and I frequently find my data connectivity cut off for no reason especially when I am moving around (e.g. on a bus or car). My apps stop losing but signal bars appear as per normal.

The only solution I have at the moment is to turn airplane mode on and off. Really frustrating and never experienced this on M1 or CL before.

Just FYI -- in case info below is useful to anyone.

Two (2) family members use MyRepublic $8 UNO mobile plan.
(This MyRepublic mobile plan no longer available for new sign ups.)

Both have now -- been shifted from MyRepublic-Starhub to MyRepublic-M1.

* One of them was told to change from MyRepublic-Starhub to MyRepublic-M1 -- via info at this link below:
http://bit.ly/MyRSIMc
(This 1st case changed network via updating SIM card network profile. This case was done some time ago.)

* The 2nd (case) family member shifted from MyRepublic-Starhub to MyRepublic-M1 via change of SIM card:

- Family member received new MyRepublic SIM card from Ninja van delivery on 2/6.
- Activated new SIM card via filling & submiting an online form yesterday (3/6) at this link:
https://bit.ly/simacti
- Port over started at 11+ pm (on same day) 3/6; i.e. old SIM card lost network signal before midnight.
- New SIM card was (actually) serviceable before 2am (today) 4/6.

(No need to do anything to new SIM card -- just put in new SIM card after old SIM card lost signal & reboot phone.)

- For mobile data access -- new SIM card uses same APN as other M1 mobile users: 'sunsurf'
- Received SMS from M1 at 7+am (today) 4/6 that port-in (to MyRepublic-M1) was successful.

Till today, I'm not sure why one family member told to change network by updating SIM card profile -- while the other family member needs to change to a new SIM card.

I (can only) suspect this has to do with the phone used by the subscriber.
(Some phones may not have the feature / ability to support change of SIM card network profile.)

old batch customer need issue new Sim card to migrate to M1 network.

Some new batch customer the same sim card can switch from SH to M1 (no need change sim card and migrate from SH to M1)
