No, still under M1
I just registered for 5G plan and tested. If on 5G plan, both 4G and 5G signal are on StarHub! I used iphone field mode and the arfcn for lte band is 2850(StarHub band 7). I think if for people on 4G only plan, they will be on M1 network.

That's right. Pure 4G plan will still be under M1 which I think bo hua.
Can get a cheaper M1 plan like CL which I'm using at $8/month

Sibei lousy MyRepublic support.. Whole day still havent call me back.

Managed to somehow fixed it by playing with Pixel's phone setting on my own..

In case anyone is facing Pixel 7 signal stuck with LTE can try.
1. Go to dial
2. Call *#*#4636#*#*
3. Adjust the network settings to nr/lte/CDMA/evDo/GSM/WCDMA then wait 5minutes > adjust to NR/LTE

Ya leh.. now I get 5G like once the entire morning. Other than that I'm always on LTE.

Any reason to even use the 5g feature this way? Will just burn my battery even faster right?
There isn’t a a strong use case of 5G for majority of us really, it’s just for the shoik feeling seeing the 5G logo appear. :D (and helping telcos foot the 5G infrastructure upgrade)
