My wife's phone is on MR 5G. I haven't heard any complaints from her yet. I did try to measure bandwidth with Speedtest on her phone at City Hall MRT / Citylink / Suntec / Marina Square area several times, and the speeds were boosted significantly beyond 100 Mbps (can't recall the exact figure). She never complained about the connection in MRT.

their 5G vs 4G is night and day :ROFLMAO: their 4G coverage and performance can't hold a candle to their 5G.
4G is on m1 network, 5G is on SH/M1 SA network
unless one needs the "MR Talk" app, I always recommend their 5G if they need/want to be on MR.

Hi all, just checking if anyone has any issues with my republic 4g sim card?

As my dad told me that his phone suddenly no signal at all. And I ask him to screenshot and it seems like the card with a cross on the android phone signal. Does that means the card is cancelled?

Have you been paying the bills? If yes, it shouldn't be canecelled.
Tried basic troubleshooting like restarting the device?

Well my bills are paid monthly by card payments so that is definitely a rule out.
Restart phone, transfer card all seems to be pointing to card issues. As my card into my dad's phone have no issues, and my dad SIM card isn't working my phone.

Anybody recently have a postpaid plan with MR with free roaming to MY.. were you able to use it? My network only connect with "E". Not even 3g. I assume it is the APN issue? I was connected with Celcom which i believe is the partner. The Apn is shwap.

4G plans seems to have a cheaper upgrade option to their 5G plans.

Did anyone face a problem with not being able to make outgoing voice calls at random times?

may not be related to your question though (local call?), but.....
yes, when overseas, while using their "mr talk" app in places where VoLTE is not supported by roaming partners

Guys, my MR plan comes with 10gb roaming data to MY/ID mthly, valid for 7 days upon first use. Does this mean after 7 days, I won’t have anymore roaming data until my next billing cycle?
