Latency and responsiveness of network, really m1 feels better. Yesterday report by OpenSignal, M1 took the top spot over Singtel and Starhub.

After switching from M1 to My Republic (Starhub). I feel the latency is slower, loading times slower. And I'm still within the 1GB untrottled data. Anyone feels that too, latency is weak

I think myrepublic can do a little better with the boundless data.

If they can give a consistent 384kbps down and 128kbps upstream.

I think should be quite ok to use.

Maybe it depends on which part of Singapore and the base station you are connected to? My surfing experience in the East has been smoother than previously with M1.

Oh, m1 network in the west not bad. Still day 1 testing out (starhub)-MR network. I never tried other operators before, this is first time

China is under Zone 2 for Roaming leh for MR.
Actually. I don't want data roaming, just want the network to receive calls, that's why I didn't sign data roaming.

Cos I'm on dual sim, main SIM using data passport data. Hence just want to receive calls for my myrepublic sim. Day 3 here in China now, Still no signal. I even selected on Myrepublic app under roaming put "voice and sms" only

That's weird. I don't think there's a need to enable data roaming just to connect to roaming networks.

I think is the peering problem instead. Either is StarHub or MyRepublic fault.

Yeah it's weird. Finally got network in China yesterday on China mobile. Got many missed calls upon connected, missed lots of calls.

Luckily still got data 4G from my main sim to stay contactable

gosh... i guess that's why MyRepublic is still in "beta release" and not officially launched for a reason. :(

as others mentioned, there's problem receiving OTP from some providers too. an example being Grab.

hopefully the services will get better soon :/
